Our Leadership

Nathan Carbone is a senior finance and risk executive with deep experience spanning Tier 1 management consulting, Chief Financial Officer (CFO) leadership, and Chief Risk Officer (CRO) roles. He brings a rare combination of commercial strategy, financial governance, and enterprise risk expertise, developed through advising major organisations on decarbonization pathways, strategic transformation performance improvement, capital allocation and , operational resilience.
Nathan founded Ambition Zero Advisory to bridge a critical gap in the market — helping organisations move beyond high-level climate reporting into credible, quantified, decision-useful financial risk insights. His background in decarbonization advisory, financial stewardship and risk oversight underpins the development of Ambition Zero’s Climate Related Financial Exposure (CRFE™) approach, ensuring it is practical, defensible, and aligned to evolving regulatory expectations.
With a strong focus on board-level decision support, Nathan leads the team in supporting clients translate climate hazards into measurable financial exposure — enabling clearer investment decisions, improved resilience planning, and more robust disclosure outcomes.
